The HPBS team officially presented the management of Korzinka with an international EDGE Buildings certificate at the Post-Construction stage, Advanced level, for their distribution center.
This is the first building in Uzbekistan to be certified under the EDGE standard as a new construction project.
EDGE Advanced certification confirms that the building demonstrates a significant reduction in resource consumption compared to conventional benchmarks, specifically:

31% reduction in embodied carbon in materials
The Korzinka distribution center project combines innovative technologies and modern construction materials, enabling it to achieve the Advanced level of EDGE certification in energy efficiency.
HPBS acted as the EDGE certification consultant, providing comprehensive support throughout all stages of the project’s design and construction. Achieving the EDGE Advanced certificate is a major milestone for the Korzinka team, confirming their strong commitment to implementing advanced technologies and sustainable practices. This project not only improves the energy efficiency and reduces the operating costs of the distribution center, but also sets a new benchmark for quality and environmental responsibility across the industry.

IFC – International Finance Corporation (IFC) provided USD 25 million in financing to Korzinka (Anglesey Food LLC) for the construction of this modern “green” distribution center in compliance with the global Excellence in Design for Greater Efficiencies (EDGE) certification system at the Advanced level.
The EDGE standard, developed by IFC, is designed to promote green and sustainable buildings in developing countries and enables access to various incentives from international financial institutions. The standard is also a practical and effective tool for CIS countries to attract green financing from international banks.
IFC, a member of The World Bank Group, is the world’s largest development institution focused on supporting the private sector in emerging markets.
Sintali acted as the certification body responsible for assessing and verifying the project’s environmental performance.
