In May 2024, HPBS signed a partnership agreement with the State Environmental Expertise Center under the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection, and Climate Change of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

 

We are joining forces to develop and implement methodologies for calculating and optimizing greenhouse gas emissions, as well as actively working on training and enhancing the competencies of local specialists. Special attention in our joint work will be given to projects aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Thanks to this collaboration, we will be able to achieve even greater results in improving the environmental situation in the Republic.

 

This partnership agreement marks a new stage in the long-term development of Uzbekistan's carbon market and strengthens the environmental agenda in the region.
