The State Unitary Enterprise "State Center for Environmental Certification and Standardization," under the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Ecology and Environmental Protection, was established in accordance with Presidential Decree No. 2915, dated April 21, 2017. This decree aimed at improving the activities of the State Committee for Ecology.

 

In its operations, the Center relies on the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan and legislative acts, including the laws "On Certification of Products and Services," "On Nature Protection," "On Waste," "On Technical Regulation," and "On Conformity Assessment."
