info@hpbs.uzThe NUR residential complex by Namuna Development has become the first project in Uzbekistan to achieve international EDGE green building certification, created by the International Finance Corporation (IFC).
The NUR complex is located in the center of Tashkent, consisting of 30 residential blocks ranging from 9 to 16 floors, and includes commercial infrastructure, parking, and recreational areas.
The NUR residential complex received a preliminary EDGE Advanced certificate at the design stage for its high energy efficiency, reduced water consumption, and lower carbon footprint of the buildings.
The certification process for the project was managed by HPBS.
One of the key aspects of our work was advising the project team on the selection of materials and energy-efficient equipment.
The project audit was conducted by accredited EDGE auditor Ilya Zavaleev, the CEO of HPBS. By providing a full range of certification services, we acted as a one-stop shop for this project, significantly simplifying the process for our clients.
The proposed measures allowed the certified buildings to achieve significant resource savings:
The certifying body GBCI noted that these are impressive achievements, demonstrating the leadership of Namuna Development and its commitment to sustainable development principles.
After the completion of construction, the NUR residential complex will undergo the final EDGE certification and receive final certificates. Our company will continue to support this project on its path to obtaining the final EDGE certificate.
We congratulate the Namuna Development team on completing the important first stage of EDGE certification. We are proud to be part of the NUR project and wish it success in the future. We are confident that this residential complex will become a model of eco-friendly and energy-efficient housing in Tashkent and will contribute to creating a healthy and sustainable urban environment for all its residents.
