EDGE Certification for NUR Residential Quarter in Tashkent

The NUR residential project meets the EDGE certification standards set by the International Finance Corporation of the World Bank. It has undergone project documentation audits and received preliminary EDGE Advanced level certificates, highlighting its high energy efficiency.

 

The NUR residential complex includes 30 buildings, with 9 and 16 floors, and extensive infrastructure, located in the heart of the city. The total area of the entire complex is 3.55 hectares.

 

This NUR residential complex is the inaugural project by Namuna Development. This neighborhood implements the "city within a city" concept, providing residents with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable life. It is located in the center of Tashkent at Niyozbek Yuli 3rd passage and includes buildings of 9 and 16 floors, offering 2, 3, and 4-room apartments, as well as duplexes with magnificent views of the capital. All apartments are move-in ready, with completed renovations, and range from 70 to 270 square meters. Namuna Development adheres to an ecological mission, striving to create a balance between nature and modern technologies. Therefore, half of the inner courtyard area of the NUR residential complex is designated for a green zone.

Our Role:

 

  • We developed the technical strategy for certification in accordance with EDGE (IFC) standards, leading to the creation of specific technical conditions for successful certification.
  • We actively supported the design process and the implementation of EDGE requirements, including consultations on energy efficiency, water conservation, and lifecycle material analysis.
  • We prepared the necessary documentation for the audit at the design stage.
  • During construction, we also provide support by offering consultations on the selection of materials, equipment, and construction methods.
  • We develop the documentation for the audit at the construction stage, which will help prepare the construction documents and additional information to meet the certification requirements.
