Professional Career:

 

Ilya Zavaleev began his career at EY, where he worked as a consultant on large construction projects in commercial real estate, industry, and infrastructure sectors.

 

In 2013, he became the Head of the Sustainable Development and Certification Department at the Skolkovo Innovation Center. Ilya was involved in implementing sustainable development policies, energy efficiency, and international certification in the development of Skolkovo, positioned as a smart and sustainable innovation city in Russia.

 

His successful experience in implementing LEED and BREEAM standards in Skolkovo attracted clients' attention, leading to numerous requests for services from cities, developers, and corporations. In 2015, he co-founded the independent company HPBS with partners, providing sustainable development and environmental engineering services for cities and buildings.

 

 

 

Professional Awards:

 

• First place in the International Competition by the Government of Sakhalin Oblast for developing the carbon neutrality concept of a new city on Sakhalin.
• Laureate of the Moscow Government Award in Environmental Protection in 2018.
