The mission of the event was to support and develop the architectural community, preserve and promote the region’s cultural heritage, and create a platform for experience exchange and professional networking. This year, discussions also focused on advancing sustainable construction principles with an emphasis on eco-friendliness and social responsibility, as well as the integration of ESG principles, which are becoming essential to the evolution of the architectural industry.
Anna Zavaleeva from HPBS delivered a speech on "Implementing Green Building Standards and ESG Principles in Uzbekistan." In her presentation, Anna highlighted the importance of a sustainable approach to architecture focused on eco-consciousness and social responsibility. She shared practical insights on implementing ESG principles in the country’s construction projects and discussed opportunities for investors and developers who adopt green building standards.
ARCHICA 2024 featured diverse topics, including modern urban formats, methods to boost economic and tourism potential, integrating green principles into architectural projects, and concepts for future office spaces. Leading experts, architects, and designers from Europe and Central Asia, such as Sava Jovic, Ivan Kuryachiy, Magda Kmita, Andrei Barker, Ekaterina Simakova, Anton Zakharov, Nikolai Faneev, and Damir Usenov, participated in the event.
ARCHICA 2024 was a key event of the year in the architectural fields of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, providing a unique opportunity to explore modern technologies in architecture and discuss critical issues in urban development and architectural education.
