Founded in 2015, HPBS began its journey with LEED certification, an American system that impressed us with its focus on energy efficiency, air quality, and high design standards. Our first projects were LEED-certified.

- In 2017, we expanded our services by introducing the British BREEAM certification system.
Since 2018, we have been involved in WELL certification, with its WELL-being concept emphasizing people’s physical and mental health.
- That same year, we began developing services related to climate risks and greenhouse gases, offering GHG emissions calculations, decarbonization strategies, and climate project development. In 2018, we also launched our proprietary IT product – PERIX, a platform for calculating and tracking greenhouse gas emissions.
- In 2019, we entered the era of EDGE certification – an innovation by the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group. The system offers a clearly structured methodology focused on three key areas: energy, water, and materials.

Working with any green certification system requires creating energy-efficient buildings. Throughout this time, we have been developing our Engineering Concepts and Energy Efficiency direction, offering innovative solutions to make buildings resource-efficient and modern.
Geographic Expansion
Since 2021, we have expanded our international presence. In addition to our Russian office, we now provide services in Germany, Uzbekistan, and Slovenia, and have opened offices in Tashkent and Amsterdam. Currently, HPBS has 25 employees spread across these regions.
Development of HPBS Business Processes
- In 2021, we realized that business growth required systematic process management. In the summer of 2021, with the goal of building an efficient business system, the company's Partners underwent training with Alexander Vysotsky to develop HPBS’s organizational structure and a system for measuring performance. As a result of this program, we established functional departments and assigned responsibilities for key business functions. A natural continuation of this was joining the annual Business Booster program by Vysotsky in late 2021 to fine-tune our business processes.
- In spring 2022, unexpected external factors forced us to pause the program and redirect our efforts toward restructuring our services and adapting to the exit of international green certification practices from the country.
- By 2024, it became clear that building robust business processes was essential for the company’s scalable growth. In autumn 2024, HPBS Partners and the leadership team completed a project management enhancement program with Alexander Nikiforov and Simpexity, leading to an updated organizational structure.

We now have a new understanding of our business structure. A dedicated Project and Deal Management Department was created to handle client communication and monitor project phase completion.
The Technical Department developed tools to clearly reflect service stages. Service flowcharts created by this department are used by project management to build PERT diagrams for each project. These diagrams help us monitor project status, task delivery, and payment flow.
We have appointed dedicated leaders in HR and Marketing. We are learning not to combine unrelated roles under one person, ensuring each function has the space to grow, set, and achieve its own goals.
At this stage, each department at HPBS has developed justified performance metrics, and we are now learning to operate by KPIs. This is our path to structured development.
